Zoom! Chairside tooth whitening is ideal for anyone looking for immediate results. In about one-two hours teeth become dramatically whiter. It is safe, effective and fast.
The procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to cover the lips and gums, leaving only the teeth exposed. The procedure requires that all soft tissue in and around the mouth be protected. The dentist monitors the procedure to insure any exposed skin or tissue is isolated and protected. Then the dentist applies the whitening gel used together with a specially designed ultra violet light.
Teeth can become sensitive by the next day. If so, please use Sensodyne toothpaste.
Prior to a tooth whitening session, the patient will need to see a dentist for a quick consultation who will check if a hygiene treatment will be needed before the whitening. After the chairside session has taken place, patients maintain the new lighter colour with an at-home kit.
